This project has started as plan for one Bosnian language lesson – Phonetic Word Analisys for letters c, z, s. http://education.web.ba/download/glasovi_CZS.rar
We used Microsoft OneNote to prepare the excercises. OneNote gave us great opportunities to work. We could use it as blackboard with reminders on the side that will guide us trought activity. We could use a mouse, a keyboard, pens to do the work. We could insert text, pictures, animations and it was all very easy to do and bargain to pay. All we needed was one computer and a projector. It was economical, nerves and time saving. And what is the most important the children loved it! They have enjoyed it so much and IT DIDN`T FEEL LIKE LEARNING. But they did learn a lot indeed!
That is why we decideded to prepare more excercises, for more lessons
The children were enthusiastic about it. That motivated us to share our project with parents, collegues and community. We did presentation of our project in our school and few other schools, on teachers seminar, on parents meeting, in scientific journal for teachers „Vizija“, at Hospital School. We shared our expiriences with them and presented our web site www.education.web.ba where they could upload the excercises. All the excercises for teachers to work at the class are protected. Teachers need to contact s and ask a promision to use them. We did that to prevent children to use it at home, because they are made for schoolwork. On the web, we also prepared homework excercises for parents to work with their kids and spend their free tme in a new way.
We got really positive feedback both from parents and colleagues.
We hope by presenting this project at Microsoft Partners in Learnin Forum we will get the chance to share the excercising material with other teachers from Slavic languages area and our idea of sharing, playing, growing and learning together with all of the participants.
