Leaders, educators and students all need access to data in order to make informed decisions in regard to student needs and learning opportunities. With personalized learning systems, an experience can be self-initiated as well as self-directed to further enhance discovery and drive an increase in student outcomes. In this panel discussion, speakers will discuss effective uses of personalized learning, highlight leading solutions, as well as share how they measure student outcomes. In addition, you will gain insight into how large scale personalize learning systems are deployed across multiple schools in districts and regions.

After more over 20 years in education as a mathematics and computing teacher and head teacher of two secondary schools in England Jim has held strategic education roles at RM , Microsoft and Cisco. Jim has also worked on national and international projects with bodies such UNESCO, the British Council and the Global Education Initiative.

Valerie Karaitiana is the Principal of Dallas Brooks Community Primary School. She has more the 36 years of experience in education. Valerie has been a principal for the past 10 years. Valerie has led many research based projects around the effective use of technology in the classroom. The latest research project that Valerie is leading is the ”New Pedagogies for Deep Learning”.
