Managing and developing Digital Citizenship

One issue that I get asked about a lot when working with schools or ministries who are embedding technology into learning is about digital citizenship. Sometimes it's called Netiquette, sometimes e-safety. Whatever you call it how do we make sure children are not only safe online but also behave respectfully to others, are aware of copyright, understand cyber bullying, and also know about the health and safety of technology usage?

Some useful sites I've discovered include: http://www.digitalcitizenship.net/ and http://www.digizen.org/kids/

What sites and resources do you use? How do you manage this in your classroom? What about the use of Twitter, Facebook etc? Are these allowed in your school?
